Celebrated at the same time as Halloween, the Mexican Day of the Dead is a festive time in which it is believed that the spirits of the dead come back to visit living family members. During this time, families prepare their relatives graves by cleaning them and adorning them with candles, food, and drink. Homes and shops are decorated with a variety of tasty treats and toys which are fashioned after skeletons and skulls, which are a symbol of life. A blank coloring diagram is available to help you plan your quilt.
